HS Dampstop Duo is a specially formulated premium quality acrylic primer with superior alkali, damp and efflorescence resistance properties both from from

positive and negative side of wall. It consists of penetrative polymer in combination with pore blocker which blocks the surfaces porosities of plastered wall/putty and as well hardens the surface to counter effectively the dampness both from the positive and negative side and prevents alkali leaching/efflorescence and enhances the durability of the top coat paint system. It can be applied on cement plaster, concrete, masonry and putty surfaces. The surface should

be fully cured , dry and free from any loose particles.

The material can be applied by brush easily. This can be a fresh or repainting site and hence the preparation of the substrate should be of Para-mount importance for efficient product functioning. The substrate should be cleaned/repaired or abraded and then to be dried as recommended above before application of the product If the repainting site is having putty on the substrate, which is already damaged due to dampness, then it is advisable

to remove the putty and apply HS Damp-stop Duo in 2 coats on the plastered substrate and putty should be applied at the top of it. A single coat can be applied on the top of re-laid putty. After drying, all types of Putty [Bison Wall Putty/HS Waterproof Putty/Bison Happy Wall Putty] can be applied on HS Dampstop Duo and vice versa
