Siddhant deals with the principles of the solar system, which deal with planetary transitions. Hora deals with the effect of such a planetary transition on individuals, while Sanhita deals with the global effects of such a planetary transition. One has to have a judicious combination of knowledge, skill, and experience in understanding astrology to predict accordingly.
